I would like to express my desire to study at your University for the Master’s degree in International Management in autumn 2010. I believe my academic background as well as my working experience makes me being an ideal candidate for this masters program.



The reason for choosing this specific Master Programme since I would like have an opportunity to learn more in International Business Management. I believe the high quality international master programs and uniqueness of Finns value will bring me not only a level of professionalism, but also my ability to adapt to other cultures.



I completed my Bachelor’s degree program with Honors in Business Administrations, major in Marketing in 1999. Through the three years of my degree program, I was well-equipped with a foundation of business operations, and a full understanding of contemporary concepts and practices in marketing and international business. Upon graduation, I was well prepared to face the challenges of a highly competitive global environment.



Since graduation, I have been working in for 10 years and gain a lot of experience in working in an international environment and cooperating with peoples from different countries.



I worked in a based electronic components manufacturer and exporter for six years. In those years, I was responsible for managing the sales and customer service team to work with overseas sales representatives, different brand owners, and ODM companies. I also worked closely with those worldwide partners and factories in to fulfill buyer’s needs on various commercial terms and also technical requirements.



Currently, I am working in a US based global company as senior sales executive. As I am working in headquarter of Asia Operations, I gain great opportunity to chance to take the selling leads with other Asian Regional offices. I enjoy working with my counterparts from different countries who have different business philosophies, working habits and communication styles.





I am able to work well either independently or with a team. With a sincere, goal oriented, and open-minded personality, it will be easy for me to adapt to a new environment and face challenges. These qualities of mine together with my academic background and working experience would surely be an asset while undertaking your Master’s degree pogramme. Besides, the sharing of practical experience on both work and life with other talented students will definitely further explore myself. This will also strengthen my ability and flexibility to adapt and deal with other cultures as well as aid me in dealing with foreign affairs in the future.
