Motivation Letter (Language Assistant)

Hi,
I am a Spanish student and I want to apply for a Language Assistant Scholarship in the United Kingdom. I have written a motivation letter and I would like you to revise it in order to correct my mistakes.
Thanks a lot.

"Dear Sir or Madam,

First of all, I would like to thank the opportunity given to me with this Language Assistant Scholarship. I think that I am fully prepared to undertake this task, with great emotion and joy because what I most like in the world is teaching.
I am a primary school teacher and this year I will finish the Bachelor’s degree in Foreign Language Education. Teaching and educating are the most inspiring things I have ever done. Personally, to transmit my knowledge and values to other people is something that cannot be explained in a few lines, but it is a wonderful feeling.
I have been lucky to work as a primary teacher for almost one year in a Spanish school. It was the best year of my life. At the present time, I am carrying out the English teaching practice, giving support to several school teachers in most educational levels. I really like to spread my love for the English language to the pupils.
I have chosen the United Kingdom mainly because since I was a child I have showed a great interest for the British culture. I love their familiar and home-loving character, as well as their ironic sense of humour, discretion and savoir-faire in all situations.
I really enjoy languages, and especially English language, and I am conscious about the importance of living in the native country of a language in order to learn it well. During my stay in the United Kingdom, i would want to be a part of the British culture and learn as much as possible from the English people.
To sum up, I think that I fulfill all the personal and professional requirements to work successfully as a Spanish Language Assistant in the United Kingdom and I hope my application to be considered.

Yours Sincerely,

XXX"
