StartFragment> Dear Sir or Madam,
I am very interested in going to study at the University of Copenhagen. I am on my fifth semester at PUC-SP, working towards my bachelor’s degree in Psychology. The University of Copenhagen is one of the most well appraised schools in Europe, which is one of the main reasons why I want to go study there. As a psychology student I know that the university has a lot to offer. Its courses, such as “Work and Organizational Psychology” and “The Psychology of Genocide- Modern Mass Murder and Its Aftermath”, are very interesting and will complement my studies here in Brazil.
I intend to study and learn as much as possible, so that when I return to Brazil I will be able to reproduce what I have learned and share my knowledge with other people. Also as a member of a different country and culture, I will be able to share my thoughts, experiences and customs what I believe will be a very rich exchange between me and all the people I meet during my stay.
I have been in student abroad programs a few times (to England, Germany and U.S.A.), and in all those trips I have dedicated myself the most. I have never had any problem interacting with different people and cultures and never had problem adapting to a new country. Having an international experience will not only help me improve my knowledge but it will also give me a vast understanding of other cultures.
Learning about other cultures is something I am very fond of, because one of my main interests in the study of psychology is the relationship between all the different aspects of human life, different cultures and the best way of copping with those differences. And in the world nowadays this theme is one of particular preoccupation regarding the international community.
Concluding I believe that the opportunity to study at the University of Copenhagen will be one of a lifetime and that I will surely dedicate myself the most to be worth of this chance.
Yours sincerely EndFragment>
