Motivation letter for Volunteer Workcamp

I have to write a motivation letter to apply for a volunteer workcamp. Would you mind helping me?

Thank you

___

Dear Mr./Ms.

I am An, a 21 year-old Vietnamese living in HCMC. I am a junior of University of Social Sciencesand Humanities, and my major is Japanese. With this letter I would like to apply for participation as a volunteer in Kodomo-mura Workcamp.

First, I’m very fall in love withJapan. I’m fond of learning Japanese and Japanese culture. Although I have learnt some from my university, I want to know more in real. Since the terrible earthquakes happen to my belovedJapan, I feel very upset and want to do something to decrease Japanese people’s pain.

Second, I love kids and have experience working with children and would like to continue to do so in a volunteer capacity. When I was a first-year student, I was taken to a Japanese primary school in my city. The children were so cute, lovely and innocent that I really wanted to take care of them. The children are hope of each country that the country’s future depends on them, especially Japanese population is old-type and it needs to increase young population. I want to help out and live together with kids in the Kids Village. This will be the best oversea-experience for me.

I want to change other people’s lives. By volunteer activities, I could bring joy and happiness to other, and the efffort that I contribute maybe change completely their lives although they were unknown to me at the first time. Moreover, I want to change my life. I will feel happy to live and be added to my energy when I am contributed my abilities to people.

I have already had Level 3 of the Japanese-Language Proficiency Test, and I can communicate with everybody in Japanese. I have been working for Japanese Club as a Club’s Responsibility for 2 years, therefore, I have experience of organizing, activities, games and songs. Since I have been in Japanese Primary School, I know how to play with them. Moreover, I am in Saigon Yosakoi Group (named Yosago), this should be useful to have fun with the children.

I’m eager to join and ready to learn more. It would be grateful if I can contribute to this project. I’m sure that I will work with all my heart and take responsibility for what I’ve done.

Thank you for your time and hope for a positive response. If you have any questions, please contact me via-email. I look forward to your reply.

Your sincerely,

Bao An
