Motivation letter for university application in bachelor degree

Dear Sir or Madam,

My name is [...... ]. I am [...] years old. I am from [.......] and currently living in [....] . I hereby apply for psychological science, the first cycle degree programme at [.......] . At present I have finished my A/level at [.............] in [............] . I took A/level in Biology, Chemistry, Physics and English.

I am highly interested in human being and the nature of the child mind my dream is to become a child psychologist where I can work with children. Therefor I need to take my first step in my dream and I have chosen university of [..........] as my first step.
One of my hobbies is drawing which helps me to calm myself and foresee me thoughts. That is one of the reason I have started to take interest in psychology some years ago with the influence of my biology teacher. In addition my eagerness to study psychology has lead me to take part in a website name [......] as a listener which is an online therapy and free counseling site that to interact with people where I use my active listening skills for listening them and understand others behavior and mind.

To apply for studies in a foreign country is the perfect way to combine my academic interests with a new region and new society. I picked [.......] and specially [.......] University because of three main reasons I already familiar with the culture and the country due to several trips and my family has decided to move to [......] . Secondly I love the city of [.......] for its beauty and the University for its uniqueness of structure. Last but not least I love psychology. I investigated the homepage of [......] University and informed myself, especially about the bachelor degree programme of psychological science which made me satisfied that the quality of the psychological science degree which will allow me to acquire basic knowledge of all the main sectors of psychology and of scientific research methods and eventually I was persuaded that [..........] University is the right place to start me further academic career. I like the university’s key areas of research , such as health psychology , behavioral neurosciences.

I wish to point out that my essential attribute is that I study because I want study and not because of my parents or my teachers. Besides I consider myself to be a good candidate because of my thirst for knowledge. I like trying out new things. I believe that we should follow our dream when we are young because in these years we believe we can achieve anything. This , I am quite sure that I would like to apply for the [......] University' s psychological science programme in order to reach my goals . I wish that I would be selected on this degree programme .
