motivation letter for university

can someone help me?

Since I was a little girl , I remember my father would watch so many different movies , and back then I enjoyed, their rhythmical notions sometimes , for example in the movie “ the sound of Music “ .I had no Idea what she was saying , but just because of their melodic singing , I would start singing with them .
Later when I grew up, learning English language was very important to my parents, so they sent me to ILI (Iran Language Institute). I should be completely honest at 14, it wasn’t very easy for me to get used to the whole process .But when I got the hang of it, I really fell in love with the language and how it can change your life forever. You can get a better sense of the way their thinking, their cultures and their customs.
After that in the upcoming years, I got more and more attached to this language by listening to music, watching movies and reading books. That’s why for my academic educations, I decided to pursue English translation, because it included all my interests in itself. By taking the general entrance exams of universities and being accepted with a high score in my branch of study, I was able to fallow my love for learning more in this field.
In the university, I got this chance to be more involved and at the same time completely amazed with different aspect of language. At those times we had this chance to translate texts with different orientations such as poems, financial, political, and movie transcripts…
Through these periods, I found out that my interest mainly circles around two specific topics: Linguistics with its main stress in Semantics and Terminology, and its direct connection to culture and society.
After reading about 2 years individually about these subjects, I fell in love with it even more. I couldn’t help it but searching for the similar roots of the words in different languages where ever that I would go, and where ever I would find them. That was only then, that I found out, that it was truly my passion.
In Iran, I couldn’t really find my related field of study that would both involve in linguistics and it’s relation to culture and society. Here the focus is more on structural aspects of linguistics rather than semantics.
I was looking trough universities and their programs that I came across Bayreuth University and its excellent reputation. There, I learned more about your interesting and wide range of topics in which one can continue her education.
During almost year and a half ago, I started learning German language , during this period , I became somehow familiar with the German Structures and especially word pronunciation , that I found it completely different from other languages . With the help of this new language I could also investigate more about German universities, and I found their systematic method very interesting.
I am planning to study on Linguistics/Media and Culture and I believe the course “Master of Arts: Intercultural Anglophone Studies (MAIAS)/Literature” at Bayreuth University, will help me a lot in taking my next steps stronger.
