00I would like to apply for the foundation course at ------. My first interests in art and design stems from an joint venture at school where I started to create graphics. As a result I did a six week placement at an advertising agency where my rapture confirmed. After my secondary school certificate, I decided to change school to a grammar school with vocational emphasis in design and multimedia. During this three years, I obtained a view to the different disciplines like illustration, editorial design, video art and multimedia design. During my interest I got to know a lot of people have the same enthusiasm for design and I encounter to the ------ with their help. To widen my knowledge, I visited different lectures at the ------ hold by people like ------ and ------ and took place at a workshop given by ------. The visits of the ------ gave me the possibility to get a wider insight into the design and art world. 02br

00After my graduation I would like to deepen my interest in art and design with a study at the foundation course of the ------. I know the ------ through different student and the visit of the open day. One of the reason why I applying to the ------ is its approach and its high standard of education. I really like the idea of the foundation course to work with different technics and disciplines. In combination with the wide open attitude about design and art in the Netherlands it seems to be great. Furthermore I am interested in meet people from all around the world and discuss and work with them. An other reason is the magnificent list of your graduates and teachers who are much respected in their ranges. Besides Amsterdams art and design scene is very inspired and I would love to contribute and exchange me with people of all ranges.02br
