motivation letter for PhD in Nanotechnology

I am interested to undertake PhD in the field of nanotechnology. Following is my motivation letter. Kindly guide me in this regard. Please ignore formatting mistakes since I did copy paste here.

I completed Bachelor of Science (B.S - 4 years) in Biochemistry from Institute of Biochemistry & Biotechnology, University of the Punjab, Pakistan in 2010. My increasing
interest in the same field, lead me to undertake specialized study as a Master of Science (M.S. - 2 years) degree course in Biochemistry, from the same Institute. My interest and success in
studies were always reflected as my good academic grades.
During my academic career, I always found myself interested in developing techniques for treatment and diagnosis of diseases which have been known to mankind for decades but still effective and definite treatment is not reported. Considering the fact that
diseases like autoimmune diseases, asthma, cancer, bacterial pathogens,AIDS etc. lie at the top of such category of diseases, compelled me to carry out my B.S. research thesis on "Immunochemical analysis of doxorubicin conjugated with magnetic nanoparticles" and M.S. research thesis on “Immobilization of epirubicin on biocompatible nanovehicles for
targeted drug delivery”. The things that I learnt during this period cleared my understanding of different phenomena regarding targeting cancer cells. It made me realized that
nanoparticles have very promising future in the treatment of different diseases. Hence their proper characterization and detailed studies are very important in this regard. ses are involved
it is not possible to devise an effective treatment of that specific disease.
The urge to do work in a highly equipped environment and carry out detailed study on nanoparticles compelled me to continue my studies as PhD researcher. PhD studies
“Synthesis and characterization of multifunctional nanoparticles for biomedical applications” provides me a platform to study in detail the characteristics of nanoparticles but also enable
me to apply them in biomedical applications ranging from bio sensing to therapeutics .
In view of my previous research work, my technical experience in terms of usage of immunochemical techniques (ELISA, immune dot blot, Western blot), handling cell culture assays, laboratory experiments on mice as model animals, solution based
preparation of magnetic nanoparticles and using them in preparing bioconjugates ,molecular techniques (PCR, qPCR, cloning and expression) and handling of florescence
microscope together with my in depth theoretical knowledge makes me a potential candidate to undertake Ph.D. research in this field. I believe, successful accomplishment of the project
will not only lead to my personal satisfaction by quenching my thirst to acquire complete understanding of phenomena involved but also lead to a life time service to mankind by
devising a treatment method.
If given a chance I will try my level best to fulfill the demands of the project and make effective contribution to the science.
