Motivation Letter for Master's Degree

Hello,
could somebody have a look at my motivation letter ? I'm not a native English speaker, so, I'm afraid of some gramatical, lexical mistakes. How is my cover letter in your opinion ? I'm waiting for advices, corrections and additions if you think they are necesarry. Thank you in advance !

My lifelong dream has been to get a master in Journalism in Spain, therefore I followed these faculty, with specialization in Spanish language and literature, to deepen my knowledge of Spanish language, history and culture. Proficiency in other languages is a strong point in a journalist’s career.
I think Spain it is a country from which ... would have to learn many things, thence I want to do a master in Journalism, to apply the knowledge acquired at my homeland and become an irreplaceable member of society. I want to be a contributor in the process of resurrection of my country. I've always loved public life, I’ve wanted to help someone directly, being around people all the time. I have the certainty that after finishing my master's, the possibilities and opportunities to work as a journalist on television, radio or newspapers will increase considerately. Moreover, I would like to make friends with international students. It must be great to take part in culture exchanges, events and discussions on social, political issues. I choose Spain for its pleasant lifestyle, standard of living, mild climate, multicultural population and traditions. With regard to my Spanish language skills I truly believe that my level of Spanish is more than sufficient for studying at this university.
Being an enthusiastic student who likes to take up challenges, ERASMUS is for me more than a experience, is an optimum course which will equip me with the right skill to step into the exciting domain of journalism. Obtaining admission to this program will provide me with the perfect opportunity to convert passion into profession.
