"I am writing to express my strong motivation to program of international business management at XXXX university.
My dream of Europe dates back to the time when I was in high school. I happened to read an autobiography of a Vietnamese girl who pursued her master degree in England. Her story about university experience and beautiful European countries she came inspired my Europe dream. At that time I was not able to make a chance to study overseas for limited English competency. Therefore, I planned for my oversea study dream from that moment.

After leaving high school, I decided to enroll economics and international business program in YYYY I was admitted to the high quality program, the most competitive program in English in my university due to my high entrance exam result. Sticking to my goal, during university years, I always strived to have an impressive academic performance. I was amongst top 5 of my class with GPA 3.45/4. I was also awarded scholarships for students with outstanding academic performance during university years.

I myself considered that academic knowledge only did not constitute a promising candidate for any international program; practical environment and soft skills are also necessary. Therefore, I decided to step out the academic bubbles, and took part in extra- curriculum activities. I was the founder of association of students, named SVYD. With nearly hundred members, the organization focused on exchanging experience, and helping each other of young people who came from my hometown. Being a leader, together with other members, I identified development strategy for the organization. After 2 years of establishment, the organization had a hundred of members compared to over 10 ones at the first days. With a view of connecting young people, the association held big events with participation of hundreds of students and pupils, raising fund for aiding students with difficulties. During 3 years in the association, my leadership skill, time management and interpersonal skill were improved significantly. Moreover, I also joined in several competitions for students, in which people make use of knowledge of economics, business administration, combining their soft skills to confront challenges in the contest. I and my team were awarded highest prizes. Through such contests, I learnt how to work effectively in a team. All in all, I positioned myself to be an active person, continuously seeking for opportunities to improve personal competencies..

As for working experience, I have worked for a multinational corporation in investment and construction as a staff of project management department. During this period I had to deal with international investment projects, and had opportunities to make use of professional knowledge acquired in academic environment in real life situations. However, business world has become tougher and tougher, especially in the age of economic downturn. Businessmen, especially international businessmen are expected to have a global mindset, as well as sufficient flexibility in order to confront difficulties and unexpected circumstance. An international master program seems to be an optimal alternative for me to upgrade the professional, enlarge network and at most have a new view of international business issues.
After working out a pool of programs, I found that your program of international business management was a perfect selection for me. Firstly, your program which is suitable for my undergraduate background offers a comprehensive study in terms of management as well as international business with a wide range of courses in sales, team building, and negotiation. Secondly, Finland’s education is ranked to be one of the best ones in the world, which convinces me that I will have opportunity to experience the best studying environment. Thirdly, through my friends studying in Finland, I find that Finish are very nice and helpful, which can make my overseas experience more fantastic. I intend to devote my time to get deep insights into international business management, especially learn about how to manage a business and realize development opportunities in crisis or difficulties which have currently been hot issues for most of enterprises in 2 years of your program.

I plan to come back to my country after complete master program, and continue working in my current company for one or two years to gain some more working experience. Then, I intend to switch to another multinational corporation dealing in a different field in order to diversify my knowledge and experience. My utmost career goal is to be a senior of a multinational incorporation or a Non- profit organization.

In a nut shell, studying in Europe is my long-lasting aspiration. I have tried my best to make myself ready for such experience through the process of pursuing bachelor degree and joining in a lot of extra- curriculum activities. I believe that my career desire and my personal qualities make me a credit for your program. "
