PARIS SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

My name is xxxxxxx, and I am applying for PARIS SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

Throughout my course in university, I maintained a high level of academic achievements while doing community volunteering in xxxxxxxx. I graduated from the second faculty of fine arts in Damascus University, majoring in visual communications on July 2016.

Not only was I involved with academic and extra-curricular activities, I also worked as a freelancer since 2014 and I worked one month training in xxxxxxx in Damascus as a junior graphic designer. On august 2016 I started working in xxxxxxxxxx as a graphic designer as of today. On November, I was nominated as employee of the month for creative and hard working. This employment has taught me much about others and myself. I have learned what it means to work hard and how to motivate other to do the same thing.

At Damascus University, I was honored to be one of the top ten students from seventy applicants whom entered the honors program. In addition, I was awarded the Al-Bassel certificate for academic excellence.

Behind my achievements is a strong desire to learn. I know that the experience of studying abroad will help me to develop myself and to improve my abilities.. France is one of the best countries in the world to study art and design, it is the dream of every artist especially for an ambitious person and dreamer artist. The study in France seems like the perfect opportunity to interface with other cultures, learn another language, work under a different educational system, and enrich my experience.

I hope to complete my master’s degree over the next year and attend graduate school so one day I can return the favor to the many professors that helped me along the way during university. Art has taught me to evaluate life and experience, it’s through that I hope to become an active member in society, using all my energy to bring about constructive change and create a path to the “good life,” not only for myself but also for others.
