Motivation Letter for EVS

Hi!I'd like to apply for a project of European Volunteer Service and I wrote the motivational letter. Would you please read it to see if it works? I think I need your support to correct it.
Thank you in advance.
Alice

I'm Alice, I'm 22 years old and I live in Turin, a big city in the north of Italy. With this letter I would like to apply for partecipation as a volunteer in the project ---.

I graduated in november 2014 in Childhood Neuro and Psycomotricity. This is a required course which doesn't have any correspondances abroad, but that we can resume as a profession which involve tasks of the occupational therapist and of the physiotherapist but deals just with people ranged 0-20 years old. I really liked my studies because we learned to treat children with severe disorders, such as Celebral Palsy, through interesting activities based on playing together. It's a form of physiotherapy with exercises and techniques adapted to suit the children' different ages. I found it very inspiring, I discovered a new world and I understood that working with people with disabilities is very difficult but rewarding, too. Actually I'm looking for opportunities to work with children with disabilities and I'm seeking a job in a rehabilitation center, or in schools and associations. Moreover, I'd like to develop some projects or laboratories of psychomotricity for children with or without disabilities, by using traditional tools from the psychomotricity, but also from art and dance. I think that feeling at ease with our own body and expressing ourselves how we prefer is an important richness for children, and that's my aim.

I like travelling and meeting people of different countries; I worked and volunteered in multiethnic districts in Turin and these experiences taught me to deal with people with different cultural background. I'm quite flexible and approach all the situations with conviction and dedication. I had some experience of volunteering, helping sometimes some associations where I attended a course (Baby-Xitter and Autismo&Sport Onlus), by doing activities with children or selling their products to raise founds for them.
I'm quite curious and I like to try new things and activities. In my life I have had many hobbies. When I was younger I played volleyball, then I attended a course of Circus, I climbed, ... At the moment, I'm doing Capoeira and pilates and I find them very interesting. I'm really interested in music: I try not to focus just on a genre, but to listen to different kinds of music; anyway, we can say that I'm keen on traditional music, I like the passion of musicians and dancers and the different sounds. I really like singing and I started just a few weeks ago to sing in a chorus. I'd like to learn to produce things by recycling waste material and to create clothes, creams and all I need by myself.

Actually I feel the need to grow as a persons, enriching my culture, language and learning from people that are working in what I’m interested in. In the EVS I see an opportunity to give myself a challenge by doing something good for other people and enriching for me. Moreover, I'd like to live abroad, discovering another country, different language and culture, to enrich my own background. As for Spain, I think Spanish people has got something special, and they could teach me lots of things.

I'm choosing this project because I'm interested in programme and I like what the Universidad de Madrid and the Fundación Prodis are doing together. At the moment I just worked in medical and rehabilitation context with people with intellectual disabilities and I'm interested in expanding my knowledge in programs about education, work and integration. I find very interesting the activities with elderly people, too, because I think that there isn't anything that can better restore strength and soul than practical and artistic activities.
