Motivation letter for Erasmus

Hey. Here is my letter of motivation for my university.
How do you think is it good enough (letter) to get ERASMUS scholarship?
Could somebody take a look at it and give me some comments. Thanks in advance.

Dear Sir/Madam,
With this letter, I would like to express my interest of participation in ERASMUS program to study at HAMK University in Finland for one academic year or at TU Braunschweig in Germany for two semesters as an exchange student.
I am currently studying Civil Engineering at Latvia University of Agriculture. I am 2nd year student, however I have already gained enough knowledge in the field of my specialization, which covers both theoretical and practical backgrounds, to take a part in exchange studies. My future plans are living and working abroad, Germany have always been in the peak of my top-country list. The Erasmus program seems like the perfect opportunity to make this happen, to try out other educational systems, to gain more independence and also to enrich my curriculum vitae to facilitate to get a job in future.
Both universities have benefits. HAMK is the university that I was trying to apply last year, ERASMUS program head confirmed my candidature, and unfortunately I did not send an application because of circumstances in my family. This year my family is supporting me, they definitely accept universities I have chose.
TU Braunschweig from my point of view is one of the best European universities of Technology. I believe that my education would benefit greatly from spending there two semesters. There is offered a wide range of courses appears to be the perfect complement for my knowledge. Student’s and professor’s great feedbacks inspire me. Another good reason for me to join the TUB is its high standard of education. Germany is famous by its modern technologies, outstanding engineering and wise people.
A very obvious reason why both HAMK and TBU are attractive to me is their internationality. Universities have a high percentage of international students. I would love to be among international students because it is a great opportunity to broaden my horizons and get in touch with people I would normally never have the chance to meet. Getting to know different cultures and habits as well as different opinions and tastes, corresponds strongly to my nature.
To sum it all up, I like to take responsibility and to work in a team to achieve common goals. I am very motivated and willing to put much effort in my work so that the results are satisfying. Personal improvement is the force that motivates me to move forward, to reach all the ambitions. As my favorite quotation claims, where there is a will there is a way.
I hope you consider me a worthy student to be approved in ERASMUS program. I look forward to hearing from you.
Yours faithfully,
