Motivation Letter for a Master degree
Dear all,
I'm writing a Motivation Letter for a Master degree and I would really like you to help me.
It's the first time i write one so I've scrutinized information about motivation letters.
It helped me arrange my letter but i think there is till a lot to work on and I would be very grateful if someone takes a look at my letter and gives me some advises.

My name is Anna X , I’m 23 years old and I would like to apply to your M.A. program in Chinese Studies.
I’ll obtain soon my B.A. in Language, Culture and Society of East Asia at Z University and
I’m looking for a interesting MA program abroad.
I would like to continue my study abroad because I’m looking for an global learning and dynamic environment.
I Think I can meet my academic and cultural goals at Your renowned University being taught by internationally recognized experts .
During the bachelor, a part from Chinese language, I have been carrying out studies on contemporary history ,economy and international relations of East Asia, which equipped me with a good knowledge of socio-cultural, politic and economic trends of the area and I think Your M.A. in Chinese Studies represents pertinent continuance of my previous study.
I find the MA program in Chinese Studies very interesting for many other reasons .
I believe it is a valid opportunity to get a good command of Mandarin combined with a broad knowledge of China which I could get from one year stay at a prominent Chinese university as scheduled in the M.A. program.
I already attended a Language course for one semester in Beijing at CNU and I’m looking forward for a longer period of study in Mainland China or Taiwan.
The second year of the program is as well attractive as it would study courses in Leiden which covers topics such as modern Chinese politics and government as well as Language Training in Modern Chinese and as Asian worldviews .
By studying in The Netherlands, I will appreciate and lean more another important European culture.
In addition, I think this M.A program will help me mature in an international context where I can exchange my abilities and earn the utmost from a heterogeneous environment.
If accepted, I will do my best to exceed your expectations.
I am confident that I will meet my career and personal goals while studying at Leiden University and I firmly believe the chance to study at Leiden University will turn out to be a guide in my future studies and career.
