Motivation letter for a course

Dear all,

I 'd like to know if the following letter meets the criteria of a "a short description of the reasons the student choose the course".Although I no longer want to take the course, I'm interested in the deficiencies of the letter.
Thank you in advance.
---------------------------------

Dear Sir or Madam:

I am applying for the ABCD program.

Currently I’m a third year student at the EFGH Business School, and at the same time, I’m an electronics engineer student. Working as a electronics designer during the past two years, I see the great importance of careful business planning and managment and I would like to improve myself in these fields.

I really enjoy learning through problem solving, so , for my application decisive was the fact that the course emphasises teamwork not lectures. Since teams work under the guidance of experienced professionals, I believe that the course would give an insight into various management functions as well as providing an opportunity for self-assessment and the development of management competencies. In addition, I could easily improve my oral and written english language skills.

I think that this course would be very advantegous for me and I would be pleased to be given the opportunity to patricipate in it.
Thank you very much for considering my request.

Sincerely yours,
