Hello! I would very much appreciate if some native speaker could go over my cover letter and point out errors (if there are any).
Dear [name]
I am addressing you since I am interested in working for your company. As far as I can gather from various sources, you seem quite modern and original with your approach to both your clients and employees alike. I can also relate to your company's future purpose quite easily.
I am a high school student and about to graduate this month. That's why I'm looking for an interesting job which will allow me to use my full potential and grow even further. I'm not applying for any of your currently advertised jobs, but I would like you to know about me in case you would consider opening a new position in the future which could be suitable for me.
I am mostly interested in application software programming using .NET and C#. VBA is another language I can use and I also know the basics of Python. But I would rather practically use the knowledge of C# I have learned in school and in my own free time. Although I do have some knowledge of other IT fields (see enclosed CV), I would prefer working in a position where I could use programming on daily basis.
Other than my technical skills you might be interested in my knowledge of English - B2 according to CERF. It's not just the theory, I communicated with native speakers at my job as a intern in Ireland every day, not to mention my host family. While working in Ireland I also completed a English course (upper intermediate level).
When provided a good team, I have no problems cooperating with other people. I already did that as a intern (see enclosed reference). This does not apply to work only. Once in a while I volunteer and help my local sound engineer during various live shows. In these situations I have to work with other members of the crew as teamwork is very important there.
Should you find me an appropriate match for any jobs you might be offering in the future, please contact me either by mobile or by email.
Thank you for your time,
XXX
