Letter Writing
Motivation letter (bachelor's degree)
Hello everybody,
I want to ask you to read and check my cover letter. English is not my mother tongue so there might be some mistakes. What is more, this is my first try to write sth like that. Thank you very much for reading this.
To whom it may concern
I am writing to apply for the Bachelor‘s Degree program in Media Practices at the University of XXX.
I have always been interested in media and the way it affects different people. Thinking about my future career I see myself in a position which is related to mass communications and media productions. I want to be able to make decisions, to think and to use my theoretical knowledge practically. Problem solving is something that really excites me. I feel that I need a job where I can experience something new every day. After reading about the modules that Media Arts students take, I felt that I finally found something that really fits me.
Studying at the University of XXX is a perfect choice for me both academically and experientially. As the university is well-known for its Media Arts courses, I expect to be able to start a successful career after I graduate. What is more, I have a passion for travel and understanding different cultures. So possibility to meet students from all over the world who are interested in media is of something that I put much value upon. I hope that diversity and academical excellence of the Bachelor‘s program will bring out the best in me.
I believe that I am a suitable person to study Media Arts at your university. I like to communicate with people and I am very interested in what other people think. I know the values of teamwork and hard work as these are the cornerstones of success. What is more, I never give because the harder you try, the better you feel when you finally win. And success is something that makes my world turn around.
