Dear Sir/Madam, I would like to attend the Young Diplomacy Professionals Forum 2013 in Latvia for several reasons. Networking with the conference participants will prove to be invaluable for me. I have a special interest in the programme for Group A, in particular by workshop: "Drafting of Proposal Papers on Future of Eastern Partnerships" and "Drafting of Proposal Papers on Global Positions of the EU". I am Ukrainian citizen, an undergraduate law student in Poland. After several international internships (AIESEC internship in Bulgaria, internship in the Ukrainian Civil Court in Odessa and Polish Criminal Court in Krakow, a year-long volunteer work in Human Rights department Student Legal Clinic of Jagellonian University) and scholarships (Governmental Scholarship of Polish Republic and Erasmus LLP scholarship in France, University Montesquieu Bordeaux IV) I've had an opportunity to compare diversity of systems and to form my professional interests. I am gaining my specialization in International Public Law and I am writing my master thesis on the chair of International Humanitarian Law. I'm strongly interested in international relations, security and defence issues, which are the main topic of conference. Participation in conference will provide an important information and will give me an opportunity to gain a next step in my career plan as a future leader . Besides, I hope, that my contribution during the workshops is going to be valuable.
Dear Sir/Madam, My motivation to participate in the Young Diplomacy Professionals Forum 2013 is connected with my interests and my background. As I've mentioned previously,I am Ukrainian citizen, an undergraduate law student in Poland, which is the reason I'm interested in Eastern Partnerships as a non-EU citizen who is studying in EU countries (Poland and France). International internships (AIESEC internship in Bulgaria, internship in the Ukrainian Civil Court in Odessa and Polish Criminal Court in Krakow, a year-long volunteer work in Human Rights department Student Legal Clinic of Jagellonian University) have helped me to discover functioning of different systems and have taught me to compare them in unprejudiced way. That's why I'm highly interested in international relations. My work in Legal Clinic has been a great challenge, but my passion and aim are still to defend human rights. I am gaining my specialization in International Public Law and I am writing my master thesis on the chair of International Humanitarian Law, which was an important choice on my future career path.
Thanks in advance!
