Dear Sir or Madam

I am writing in order to enquire about the possibility of obtaining a work placement in your company.

I am following a two-year training to become a cameraman or a lighting technician at Lycée Carnot in Cannes. My studies include courses in TV and film lighting (with blondes, fresnels, HMI, Kino Flo, Diva-Light …), camera filming (with Panasonic AJD-610, AJD-800, AJD-400, Sony DSR-500, Panasonic HVX-200, Philips LDK-140 … ), video and broadcast technologies, editing, English, cinema …

I’m very interested in new technologies and curious of discovering and learning more about camera and lighting. Moreover I enjoy working as part of a team. By the way I have shot on a television set and made reports for the “Cannes cinema meeting” broadcast on the channel “Nice Azur TV”. What is more I will work two weeks for the “Cannes International Film Festival” in may 2010.

I will use all my skills and knowledge so as to fulfill tasks you will give me. I would be very grateful if you would agree to give me a work placement in your firm in June 2010 but I am also available in July and august if you prefer.
