Motivation Letter

Dear all,

I am asked to reply to the following three questions for an internship:

- why are you applying for this internship?

- what are your expectations?

- why are you a good candidate?

I am not asked to introduce myself and, the only restriction I have regards the number of characters (1000, spaces included). Can you correct it and provide me with feedback?

I strongly believe this internship is an opportunity not to be missed to grow under the human and professional profile. I am deeply interested in the functioning of the EU, specifically the steps required for the design and implementation of policies to stabilize the economy, given that I devoted my thesis to these topics. Hence, I would like to see first-hand this whole procedure.

In this internship, I expect to gain experience working with people who are masters in their field and know the meaning of working for a leading institution like the EU. I am also eager to put into practice all the knowledge acquired in five years of economic studies.

I think the Erasmus experience made me grow in many ways. I know what it means to be away from home, settle in a new place and meet other cultures. In the last years, I worked on my teamwork skills and acquired advanced knowledge in economics. For these reasons, I honestly believe that I am highly motivated and ready for this challenge.
