Motivation letter

Hello there, I've been writing a motivation letter to apply for a master degree in Literature and Culture. And I have to make it 2 pages length. The fist page's done. Now I have to mention my current work position and I am an English teacher and it has almost nothing to do with culture and literature. So, should I write it only in one sentence or detailing it as it is? Need your help. Thank you in advance
