Hey,
I am applying for a study programme in the Netherlands. As English is not my mother tongue I am pretty insecure about my Motivation Letter. It would be amazing if someone could review it.
Thanks in advance!
Dear Sir/Madam,
With this letter, I would like to introduce myself and express my interest in applying for the International Bachelor Communication and Media (IBCoM) programme at X X X X starting in September 2017.
I am interested in beginning a career in the field of communication and media and I am certain that this Bachelor´s programme will help me to fulfil myself in both professional and personal context.
In June 2016 I graduated at the X X X X. During school years I figured out that creative tasks and team-work suit me pretty well. I enjoy to discuss critically and to generate new knowledge which are big parts of the IBCoM programme. Besides I have always been interested in the world of media and its political, economic and cultural impact. So I participated in an advanced class of politics and economics for two years. In this context I took part in some long-term projects and learned to work very disciplined and effective in a team.
Studying at the X X X X is a perfect choice for me both academically and experientially. As the university is well known for its highly qualified, international lecturers and ranked as one of the top 100 universities worldwide I will be able to start a successful career in an international company working in the dynamic and diversified field of communication or to take part in one of the diverse related master programmes.
I am an open-minded person and appreciate learning and trying new things so the variety of courses in the IBCoM programme that fit the individual interests and talents of the student offer me the opportunity to broaden my personal horizon enormously.
Furthermore the international study environment and the opportunity to go on an exchange convince me that the study programme fits my interests and future plans. In school I already participated in every exchange I could and went to France, Poland and Italy. Currently I am volunteering as a teacher at X X X X in Nicaragua for a year. I enjoy meeting people from other countries and getting an insight in their culture as well as learning new languages. I am fluent in German, English and Spanish and learning French and Italian. Studying in the Netherlands would provide the chance of learning Dutch in a very practical way to me.
I hope I have been able to convince you of my suitability and my passionate motivation to start studying in the IBCoM programme.
