To whom it may concern,

I am writing this letter to express my strong desire of becoming a student of International Trade Program.

My aim is to become a consultant or a manager in an international organisation. And a completion of your master program allow me to better prepare for today’s dynamic global economy environment and to be more competitive in the field of leadership and management skills and better understand the international economy and policies. China has become the largest international trade country and international trade is growing at an unprecedented speed, even influencing the companies that focus on domestic markets.

I graduated with a bachelor degree of Agriculture and Business Administration from Southwest University and currently working on my SAP master degree at Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics (later renamed Beihang University). My master academic performance is in top 5 in my class, but I am glad to say I am not a person who only engaged in studies. Since I entered university, I have been trying to take every chance to improve myself in the field of management and communication. I was a student union leader at Southwest University and responsible for a team consisted of over 40 people. By donating my time to student union, I gained a lot of practical experience in leadership as well as team-working and organisation skills and learned how to efficiently use and manage my time (I accomplished double degrees during that period). To get more closer to my career goal, I had an three months internship in marketing department of LearOn Investment Group Ltd., which I enjoyed my experience working there and I had opportunities to participate in several big event. I found this work very invigorating and I determined to become more professional so that I could be well prepared in the future. Last year, I started a six-month full-time internship at Daimler Greater China Ltd. I really enjoyed working in this intercultural environment and I made many friends here. By participating in several projects, I bordered my global perspectives and improved my problem-solving ability.

Concerning my personality, I am a very open-minded, hard-working, initiative and positive girl, enjoying communicating with people from different background with understanding and respect. When I was 11-year-old, I first read the tragedy Faust and since then I got interested in german culture and wish could have an opportunity to come one day. German is the heart of the Europe and its education reputation is well known all over the world. Your international trade master program is the best way to gain deeper knowledge and achieve the career goals I set for myself, especially the practically oriented curricular and international case studies. Furthermore, this program perfectly match my future career development. Therefore, I wish you could provide me a chance to study here.
