motivation letter
Hello everyone!
I have written my motivation letter for ERASMUS MUNDUS program. It seems to me that it is not good enough. Can you please read it and help me how to improve it, correct mkistkes I've made.

Once I’ve heard a proverb: “Where there’s a will, there’s a way”, and since that time it became my motto, which I try to follow during my life. When at school I always wanted to enter to the National Technical University of Ukraine “Kyiv Polytechnic Institute” for the reason it was the best one in Ukraine. After visiting it, my desire became even stronger. I have faced many obstacles, but fortunately I overcame all of them to achieve my dream. Now I am a third-year student of the NTUU “KPI” of the Faculty of Linguistics. For me it’s a good illustration that dreams may come true if you work hard.
I was always fond of studying languages and that is why I chose the Linguistics Department. And It seems to me that courses provided in The University of Groningen, Netherlands for studying Modern EC Languages and in Karl-Franzens Universitaet, Austria at the Faculty of Humanities will be both invaluable for me as an opportunity to enhance my knowledge of English. Moreover, attending university in Austria will give me a chance to improve my German, as it is my second foreign language.
The diversity of experience I possess in different activities is one of my distinguishing characteristics, which will be helpful for me during study in foreign university. I am fond of different kinds of sports, such as tennis, skating, skiing, but I also have a flair for the arts. I used to take part in theatre plays during my school years. Now I mostly watch them, but when there is an opportunity to act I always try to use it. I tend to be pushed towards the “new”. A “new” which leads to a deeper knowledge of our inner self and to an improvement of one’s skills. Bearing in mind this personal philosophy, I have addressed myself to many different activities in different fields, from sports to art and of course education.
As for a student extremely intrigued by language studies, this opportunity is an incredible one to me. I will have a possibility to improve my knowledge not only with the help of books, but also through communication with students from all over the world. Understanding of a variety of cultures will also give me a wide outlook and broaden my horizons, all these qualities are extremely important in my future career. I am eager to gain new experience and this program is the best way to achieve it.
