Motivation Letter

Dear members of this forum,

I am struggling with motivation letter. Please could you have a look at my draft of this letter?

Wish you Happy New Year,

Yours sincerely,

Kirill

--------------------------------------------------------------------

Dear Sir or Madam,

This letter is written in addition to my application for a Bachelor of Science in engineering degree provided by University of Manitoba. I recently graduated from Christchurch Polytechnic Institute of Technologies. After I graduated with Diploma in CAD with average GPA- 7,5. I had a strong interest in acquiring a deeper knowledge in engineering.

My career ambition is to become a highly profiled Mechanical Design Engineer in the aerospace field, because engineering is a very broad field and there are many definitions. From a basic level engineers design, develop or build structures, machines, finding right materials and system which will help to achieve a goal. It is also necessary to prognosticate the way these designs will work and react to stresses. An engineer should also consider the economics factors and safety factors of the project. While being a student at CPIT I have had authentic interest in design and how can I improve my projects that will suitable for real life. This key of interest motivates me now to get deeper knowledge in engineering.

Also, for the time of my studying I was in the top ten of the class and have been involved with preparing technical drawings for manufacturing and modeling in 3D future product.

Apart from my studying I devoted of my spare time to work at Grants Processing Department at New Zealand Red Cross with providing some assistance to people who have been affected by earthquake. These was one of the most difficult, but at the same time an important experience working in stress situation that I gained while I was working with affected people and studying.

I believe the University of Manitoba is one of the best places to achieve my career goals. It offers more support for students, academic programs and scholarships than other university in province. A completion of Bachelor of Science in Engineering at University of Manitoba will be an excellent springboard to turn my education into successful career.

Big variety of technical student associations such as SAE, CASI and CSME will make a great addition to a daily University routine. I believe that joining them will provide great experience in becoming a great team player. And Co-Op education which is providing by University of Manitoba is splendid option which enhances the formal education.

The opportunity to continue my studies within B.Sc. (Eng.) program would enable me to become a good specialist who will be able to contribute to the welfare of the changing world.

Yours faithfully,

Kirill
