Motivation Letter

I am struggling with writing a motivation letter to apply for a Master Program in The Netherlands.

Could someone review what I did so far and help me with my english, as well as improving this letter?

I am writing to express my interest in applying to the Master program of Legal Research starting in September 2013. I would like very much to study Law’s Theory and Philosophy in a deeper level that would provide me with the necessary skills to make a relevant contribution to the Legal and Academic community through teaching and researching legal theory, as well as give me the tools to follow a PhD program afterwards.
As I am married to a Dutch citizen and we are moving to The Netherlands, I would like to continue my studying in a challenging program such as Legal Research in Utrecht University.
I strongly believe that my educational background prepared me well to follow a Master program in Legal Research focusing in Legal Theory. I study Ronald Dworkin’s Theory of Law since 2004 when I was in my second year in college and have since accomplished to publish some papers in specialized publications in Brazil about Dworkin's theory of the Role of Judiciary and Law Interpretation.
I am a highly motivated student and I would be very pleased to deepen my knowledge in legal theory, in order to better understand the legal phenomenon, as well as studying the philosophical foundations of law and its role in democracy.
Also, I have always been passionate about researching and writing, which helped me greatly to be always one of the top students in class. Writing, debating and researching have not only been tasks to fulfill, but also a pleasurable work where I could develop myself as a Law practitioner and citizen.
The Legal Research program in Utrecht University seems to me the perfect environment to learn professionally how to be a researcher and will provide me with the necessary skills to follow an academic career. Studying in the best Research University of The Netherlands is a great honor and would be fundamental to shape my career as an academic.
