Hereby I would like to apply for admission to International Business and Languages program at the Hogeschool van Amsterdam for the February 2012.
First of all I would like to introduce myself. My name is Ksenija, I am native Russian that grew up in the Republic of Latvia. During the last two years I live in Holland and I would be happy to continue my education here. The reason why I have relocated to the Netherlands is exactly studying abroad. On my opinion Holland is one of the best countries for students that open a gateway to international carrer. The Hogeschool van Amsterdam is one of the largest and well known universities of higher professional education in the Netherlands, therefore I would be proud to be a part of your team.
There are several reasons to clarify why I have decided to choose International Business and Languages program at the HVA. IBL program is a good choice for me as I am interested in foreign languages and I can also continue to improve my English language proficiency while learning two other languages. In my case it would be Spanish and Dutch. Learning Dutch is a big advantage for me as I am planning to live in Holland. It is also right choice as I have a potential for a languages and willingness to learn business industry. To be more specific, HVA would be the best opportunity because the entire program is taught in English, it enable to obtain a Bachelor degree in Business Administration, it is a multilingual and multi-cultural high standard institute.
Now I would like to present some background of me. After the Secondary school graduation I have also completed a one year course of a higher professional education Bachelor's study program Business Studies at Riga International School of Economics and Business Administration (RISEBA). Since higher education is a must for me therefore I want to continue what I have started but in new direction. In order to do that I need the best education possible and I am sure that HVA can provide it.
In conclusion I would like to say that I like to grow up and develop myself. Studying is a great opportunity to do that and it is always a light in the darkness.

I have looked at your letter. In your letter, you don't talk about yourself. The reader doesn't not know much about you. Yet, that is the whole purpose of these letters. That is, to help educate the reader about you.
All I know is that you want to attend this institution because you want to learn Dutch as you planning to live in Holland afterward. The reader needs to know more information
