Motivation letter

I am writing to express my great interest in applying for the preparatory PhD position in aquaculture research in the Leibniz-Institut in Berlin. I studied Natural Resources Engineering (Fisheries), from 2004-2008, at the Fisheries Dept., Islamic Azad University – North Tehran Branch, Iran, where I obtained a Bachelor's degree, and I studied the same field of study from 2008-2010 at Fisheries Dept., Agriculture College, Islamic Azad University, Qaemshahr branch, Iran, where I obtained a Mater's degree .During my studies, I was always a self motivated and research-active student. I did studies in various areas because of my interest in all aspect of fisheries including: Fish Ecology, Fish Physiology, Principles of Fisheries Products Processing, Fishing Technology and Principales of Aquatic Nutrition. I did a sort of Review as my thesis for bachelor's degree about Culture of Small Zooplankton for the Feeding of Larval Fish , and it allowed me to be more familiar with many Zooplankton species and their use in feeding of larval fish, for my Master's degree I did a research on Evaluation of quality changes of salted golden mullet Liza aurat during vacuum packed storage at 4ºc, which was focused on importance of processing method of fish on their shelflife, through out this research I learnt a lot about different method of fish preserving in different part of Iran and some of the famous practical methods of fish processing around the world. During my studies my studies, I worked for a while as a Consultant in exporting and importing in fisheries section in an international trading company. During this time, I learned a lot about myself and about working with people in different disciplines. I am mentally prepared to involve myself in this program, and I am keen to learn, to contribute and to have my knowledge complemented by that of renowned scientists from different disciplines, who act as a team in this program. I would be obliged by your consideration of my candidacy for this preparatory program.
