Motivation letter
I am a graduate student of MSc in Engineering and Management or simply called „technical manager” at the University of Miskolc. I am specialized in Information Technology and Mechanical Technology. I would like to take part in a foreign professional practice for a period of 6-12 months organized by the Leonardo program (Starting earliest July 2008).
At the university, and even in my high school years I took part in many activities, like summer universities, I was organizer of conferences, and I took also part in a project in the field of mechanical engineering-„Lifetime Management in Information Technology”.
I have several experiences in foreign countries. I spent 4 months as an Erasmus student abroad at the Tampere University of Technology in Finland, where I studied special kind of management and leadership subjects, and communication and enterprise information courses.
I speak German and English fluently. I spent one month in Düsseldorf, in Germany where I studied the „Intensivkurs Wirtschaftsdeutsch”. I spent my summer practice by the Hungarian Roads Management Company, and now I am looking for a professional practice abroad.
I am able to work alone or as a part of a team, and I like working with people. I am flexible and open minded, and if it is needed, I enjoy organizing different tasks. I am able to work hard, and I love the new challenges. I am also eager to learn new things.
I would like to take part in this Leonardo program, and work abroad, because this is an excellent opportunity to improve my professional skills and to gain a lot of experiences. Since I was a little child I wanted to travel, and spend some time in a foreign country and culture. I want to do something challenging. I think, it would be a perfect start of my career, and I could build up good relationships in my profession, and personal life also.
I hope that the above experiences, knowledge, and skills make me convenient for filling a vacancy at your company.
