Motivation letter

HI i would like to know if this motivatione letter is correct!

thanks!

To whom it may concern,

I wish to apply for the post of Erasmus Student.

I have a lively interest in english language and computer science and would appreciate the opportunity / chance to broaden my knowledge by studying in your University.

I think that english language is one of the main skills that a Engineer must have: it's like math ,a universal language.

During my spare time, I improved / furthered / extended / my english knowledge reading and watching bbc's media.

Ending, I am highly motivated and look forward to the varied skills which a experience in your university would offer me.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

Yours sincerely,

Silvio.
