Motivation Letter
My passion for the world of mathematics, physics, telecommunications and in general the knowledge and research, have guided my academic and professional choices and led me to the moment which I decided to apply to Fellowship Programme at CERN.
I have a master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering in the telecommunications area and a specialization in Communication Technologies with particular interest in the field of optical communications. For this reason, I did my master's thesis on the topic "Fiber Bragg gratings for dispersion compensation and wavelength selection in radio over fiber systems".
After the conclusion of the master, I joined the xxx at xxx to devote myself entirely to development of new products in the area of passive optical networks, such as bend-insensitive fiber optics, fiber optic flexible cables and connectivity.
Over the last three years, I can highlight that I was responsible for fiber to the home (FTTH) network certification of xxx in more than 200,000 homes, involving the test of various optical and constructive parameters of the network. This experience enabled me to have a vertical knowledge regarding the design, planning, implementation and certification of optical networks, as well as understand and study the algorithms for implementing the passive network and optimizing the use of active components. Under this project, I had the opportunity to participate in various international conferences and establish multiple contacts with several international manufacturers of passive and active optical components.
The work I've done in the area of passive optical networks, motivated me to apply to the Fellowship for Early-Stage Researcher position at the ACEOLE Initial Training Network, which I believe to have the necessary skills to perform the role description announced. I'm also fully available and very interested to participate in other projects, and therefore I also submitted an application to the Fellowship scheme for Graduate Engineering Training (GET).
Seeking of an enriching professional experience and willingness to work at a research center with the reputation of CERN, I can assure my full dedication and my best contribution to the work that I might perform. Therefore, I would like to transport to CERN and all my education and professional background in order to play an active role, contributing to the success of this valuable and prestigious research center.

Please ensure that you have spaces between your paragraphs. Otherwise it is too hard to read. My guess is that you pasted your letter into the text box. After you pasted your letter, the spaces were removed. To solve this issue, please do the following:
1) When you begin a new post, type "blah" into an open text box.
2) Then paste your letter.

One more thing I forgot to mention, don't use contraction when writing formal letters. In other words, write "do not" not "don't".
