Motivation letter

Dear Madam,
I am writing to apply for the Master's Degree program in Interaction Design in the autumn 2011 semester. I have been looking in program's website with that inspiring portfolio of projects such as "Recollect" and "Paranasnap". I enjoyed learning about the program and I have been very impressed with the opportunities that would be afforded me within this program.
I have a Bachelor Degree in Industrial Design and a Specialization in Electronic Commerce, Both with excellent records. I have worked in various sectors of the economy from governmental organizations to companies specialized in development of software and technology; given to me a broad experience in areas like design , project management and software development.
Nowadays, I am working for a Swedish company called Programmeringsbolaget AB and I have been involved in many projects which require planning, design and development of interactive environments. For example, I am currently leading the design process of the second version of a successful touch-screen system, called "XYZ". This application is for hotel guests to perform the check-in process for themselves. Because of the success of the design and the application, there are already several orders from hotels in Europe and Latin America.
In my future I plan to continue in the academy doing a PhD program; where I can carry out a research on future technologies for interactive environments.
I choose this specific master's program due to its great potential in the development of research about the structure and behavior of interactive systems. Interaction Design is one of the fastest growing disciplines in the technological world. Now every digital product requires the help of IxD to be successful. And I want to be part of it. I have many ideas. For instance, interactive applications based on augmented reality to help people with some physical disability or Interfaces for business application that helps workers to perform their daily tasks more comfortable. I want to create and develop them. Unfortunately, I do not have the right knowledge and tools to put them into practice and this is why I know this programme would be a perfect starting point for me. Plus, I want to study at Malmo University because of your exceptional educational system, focus on gathering relevant work experience, and your excellent facilities.
Given my past history of commitment to excellence, I am confident that I will bring a high level of energy and enthusiasm to your program. I am sure to exceed your expectations, because of both my academic and interpersonal skills as well as the experience gained from my different jobs. I will enrich the program by enabling fellow students and professors to benefit from my ambitious and open nature. Furthermore, my international background and interdisciplinary education will add more diversity to your program.
