Motivation Letter

Dear Sir,
I appreciate this opportunity to provide further background information in support of my application for entrance to the Master Program INFOTECH at the University of Stuttgart for the Program PY10 (Winter Term 2010/11).
After graduation, I started my career as an internee software developer in a local software company, which was a part of National ICT Internship Programme under Bangladesh Computer Council, Ministry of Science and Information & Communication Technology. In my intern period, when I got a project, I started coding after studying specification for few hours. I did little analysis and eventually I was stuck when project got bigger and when few changes came. Most of the time I did not able to meet deadline and few projects were rejected. I faced couple of serious problems. To avoid complexity we started development with Water Fall model. However, eventually came to the fact that, it creates much more difficulties. I failed to meet the deadlines on several projects again. Lack of proper analysis and design few projects seem continue forever with flaws and errors. Then I felt deep knowledge of Software Engineering is essential for making bug free software. My first motivation came from there.
I have been an active associate member of the Bangladesh Computer Society: an organization of Computer Professional where I have been involved in the development of several software projects. Moreover, I can say that I would like to continue my studies in order to gain knowledge and experiences by academic research and I believe a Master Degree Program in Software Engineering would offer me the possibility of receiving the complete picture of all aspects of this field. I am determined to do Masters then Doctorate, which will certainly help with my future career. I want to gain solid background in Software Engineering. My plan is to develop a training center in my country where future leaders of IT will be creating in near future.
I believe that the courses I have pursued for my bachelors degree, the professional training I had and the experience I gained have provided me with a strong base for a Masters in Software Engineering. With this basic grounding, I strongly believe that the Master program will further strengthen my knowledge, hone my skills and enable me to at the forefront of leading-edge technology and research going on in the field of Software Engineering. These are tough skills and a Master's program that can impart these skills can really accelerate my career growth. I chose your program after researching scores of universities.
Now a day I realize the importance of Software Engineering very much. It is not sufficient to start a training center with a single course of Software Engineering at under graduate level. I need to study each part of it in depth. I have a dream to study Software Engineering at one the best universities of the world. However, my financial situation is not good enough to effort it as the expenditure of courses are very high in the world-renowned Universities. In this situation, I found this Master on Software Engineering is the only hope to achieve my goal. This advanced program is more relate to my interest and research. This program would be the best opportunity for me to continue my education. Moreover, it will also help me to understand foreign cultures.
I am very inspired about continuing my studies and research, so it will be a great privilege if I can get the opportunity.
Finally, I can say that I look forward to join this Master Degree Program in INFOTECH in order to prove my abilities and gain new skills and I will be patiently waiting for a positive reply.
