I need someone to check my motivation letter for the Erasmus Programme, I would be very grateful if someone could check the letter and help me do the revision, thank you in advance
Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing to express my interest in the Erasmus Programme and the reasons why I would like to study abroad. Currently I am the second-year student of International Management at *****. The opportunity to study abroad would be a big challenge for me but I am confident that I am prepared to study abroad.
Since I was 16 I have gained some valuable experience and became self-reliant what I have also been brought up to. During summers 2006 to 2008 I had a part-time job in a local grocery where I have learnt to be responsible and to appreciate the value of money. Then, in 2008 I graduated from the secondary school and had to make a mature decision about my further study. The decision to study in ****** was not easy because the distance between my hometown and ***** is almost 500 kilometres but I do not regret my decision. During the first year of my university studies I learnt to be independent and to take care of myself. Currently I am working for a software company as software documentarist and to a certain degree I am independent.
Why do I want to study abroad or where it all began? When I was a little girl I used to dream about foreign countries and me discovering their culture and natural beauties. Now when I have grown some of my dreams have changed but this dream has never left me. I followed my dream and during my secondary school I worked hard on the project ******* and as one of the most contributive students I was given an opportunity to represent my school at the project meeting in ******, France. This international experience is one of unforgettable parts of my life. Therefore I would like to gain another valuable experience and the Erasmus Programme seems to be the opportunity.
I would like to focus on international management and trade therefore international experience is more than essential for my further development. Study in multicultural environment could help me develop my potential in terms of intercultural communication. If I am given an opportunity to study abroad, I will be able to build up a network of contacts that are so important for prospective manager. Moreover I work on improving my language skills by active participating on language lectures at university as well as in German course I attend. Therefore the stay in foreign country can only be an asset to my language skills.
My motto is to give people more than they expect to receive. I am confident to represent myself as well as ***** University and I am willing to work hard in order to be proud of myself at the end of this journey.
Thank you for considering my request. I look forward to your positive response.
Yours faithfully,
