Motivation letter.

Could somebody read my motivation letter and give some advise? I've included an CV so detailed working experience is not described in this letter

Dear Sir/Madam,

My mix of previous work experience and my status as a university computer science student, could make me an good candidate for the internship at your company. The experience in web-based software application development, combined with my study specialization in software engineering, have convinced me that this opportunity is an option I would like to explore.

I have the skills to work with a team as well as an independent professional. During my part-time job I’ve been working individually on an web-based application based on PHP/PostgreSQL/HTML. It should be no problem to show some screenshots or a live demo of recent work.

Hopefully you will be able to provide me with an internship position at your company. If any other information is required, I am always available to realize this
