Motivation for english scholarship

To whom it may concern:

From a very young age I have been very passionate about the English language, its history and how it has evolved through the centuries into a universal language spoken by billions across the world. Ever since primary school where I was formally introduced to the language I knew that this was where my future was. I really enjoyed reading and ever since then I have read countless literature.

Each day I am honored and I see it as one of the highest privileges to be able to stand in front of 60+ children and to share my childhood passion with them and hopefully implant that same love into their hearts and lives. I once read that “ A life is not important except for the impact it has on others”. I have adopted the above quote as my life motto because I realized that one of the ways I can make a sustainable difference on this earth is by sharing my passion with those I am directly in contact with and I would sincerely appreciate an opportunity to further my knowledge and understanding on this phenomenal discipline.

In life very few people are given an opportunity to fulfill their dreams and to achieve their goals, for me this may be my last chance to really achieve my dream of becoming a great English ambassador. I ask that you please have faith in my experience and my passion for this discipline and I assure you that I will not only meet all that you expect of me but I will succeed all your expectations.

Receiving your scholarship will not only benefit you in the long run but it will change my children’s lives because I will have a better occupation, salary and I will be able to afford my sons tertiary fees and my daughters education for the next 15 to 20 years. This opportunity will help me change the living conditions of my unemployed siblings so that they too could afford proper education for their children because the fact is that the future of this world is in educating our children and implanting good values in children and they can only acquire these when they have been provided with the basic human rights a human needs and education is key for everyone.

I would like to assure that I am not a failure in life and I am motivated by the great Englishmen such as Shakespeare and Dickens who transformed the way modernity viewed the language.
