Motivation at work

My essay :
Nowdays, the motivation at work is a large question for managers. But, how can they motivate the workforce ? Of course, he can use money, but there are also other ways to motivate the employees. First of all, money appears as the first tool to motivate the employees. They go at work because they need money. Bonuses are solutions that can further motivate employees. If he accomplishes a task, the employee will receive a sum of money, in addition to his earning. The manager must give to tasks that require effort (job performance) so that there is an outcome that will provide satisfaction for the employee. However, the task should be neither too easy nor too hard because it will not cause too much satisfaction. Satisfaction is a key element of motivation. But there is an another non-financial aspect to motivate employee. Then, the managers can work on the wellfare of this staff members. The premises must be cleaned, with embellishment. On the working conditions, he could impose a break (fifteen minutes) to relieve the stress. To creat a good atmosphere at work, the manager can suggest outputs (such as military) to create a good cohesion between the staff. In the organization of the company, the employees may be an element of the management. He will feel concerned by the life of the firm. Moreover, the employee can choose their working hours with the flexitime. If the work requires non-work commute, the employee will stay at home (homeworking – teleworking). THANKS !
