Motivatio letter for masters help
Hello Teachers,
Please I need urgent help. I want to send a motivation letter for the masters in business administration. I wrote the below Motivation letter but I need someone to tell me if it s good or if there are any mistakes in it.
Please help me as soon as possible.
Below is the motivation letter:
Dear Master’s Program Committee,
I am writing to you to express my interest in applying for the MSc in Business Administration at the University of Rome Tor Vergata, scheduled to start in September 2013. I appreciate this opportunity and I would like to provide further information in support of my admission procedure.
I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Lebanese American University (Lebanon) in 2012. I got good marks in several important and relevant subjects such as Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Energy Conversion, Heat Transfer, and Fluid Dynamics amongst many others. I also have a good knowledge of Business, Mathematics, Physics, and Statistics since it was essential during my studies. In addition, I chose my final year project to be the “Buoyancy Engine” which is a body that floats and sinks depending on the osmosis process and using a smart material called the Nafion Membrane. And the whole mechanism depends on energy conversion in order to move the body and help it float or sink. Due to the wide range of different disciplines that Mechanical Engineering involves, soon after starting my studies I realized that Business Administration was the specialty where I really wanted to focus on.
During my undergraduate studies I was selected to do an internship for a big contracting company in Kazakhstan for a period of two months, granted by the “Kashagan Project”. This experience allowed me with the possibility to gain a valuable, international and practical knowledge in the Oil and gas field, area which I would like to develop my future career in. I sharpened my critical thinking and took responsibility for several tasks in the oil and gas projects. My internship also gave me the opportunity to live abroad, meet people from different countries around the world, and experience the offshore life and work.
Soon after finishing my undergraduate studies and graduating with a BE in Mechanical Engineering, I started working as a Mechanical Engineer in ACEMCO in February 2012 till now. I worked in ACEMCO in the design, site, planning, cost estimation and sales engineer in the heating, ventilating and air conditioning. I learned a lot from the engineers, the manager, and the workers I worked with and gained a lot of experience in the field, in team working and communication skills. This experience also attests of my capacity of integration and adaptation which I think is essential when studying in a worldwide recognized institution like the University of Roma Tor Vergata, with different ideologies and cultural backgrounds offered by its students. Undoubtedly, this creates a great source of international knowledge and global vision which is a great benefit in order to be able to face a wide variety of Business and Mechanical issues.
As my aim is to work in administration and management, since I graduated I kept reading about business administration and got in contact with many managers and administers of companies that inspired me to do a master’s in Business Administration. And, I gained managerial and administrative experience in my work and want to improve it and develop it in a professional way. However, I consider that studying the MSc. In Business Administration is the best way to gain deeper theoretical and practical knowledge and achieve the career goals I have set for myself, taking a step forward for my professional development in this particular field.
The high reputation of the University of Roma Tor Vergata in the Business Administration and Economics, and the courses this program combines would provide me with the necessary theoretical knowledge and practical skills I will need to succeed as a Mechanical Engineer and a project manager in the future. In addition, when talking about Business and Economics majors in Italy, the University of Rome Tor Vergata is one of the leading schools in these majors and this is certainly because of the strong and perfect programs it offers.
I am aware of the highly competitive demands of this master’s program but I am confident that I have the ability, ambition, and motivation to exceed the requirements and I will do my best to excel with in the MSc. of Business Administration program. I would like to mention that I also have the support from two recognized professors of the Lebanese American University who assure I am trained to undertake the MSc. in Business Administration and. I am sure that my international background, deep concern in business administration and willingness to make a progress, combined with practical knowledge make me a very good candidate and will add diversity to this master’s degree program.
