Hi. I am sorry for asking a lot of questions in one post, but please help.
1. Are the articles correctly placed? Should there be the definite article "the" before the word "correct" in the first sentence? (See the definite article in parentheses below.) Let's say these are partial instructions for a group/team activity.
Whenever you answer, several people give (the?) wrong answers. Only one person on your team should give the correct answers.
2. Could we write the phrase "a subway" instead of "the subway" for the answer part below?
Q: How do you go to work every day? A: I take the (a?) subway. 3. Which is correct for the answer part below, the phrase "a bike" or the word "bikes"?
Q: What does he do on Saturdays? A: He sometimes rides a bike (bikes).
4. As a general statement regarding men/humans, which is correct, man or men?
