Most the or Most of the ???

Please look at the following question.

"____ endangered species may not be protected from the hazards from human activities"
A) Most the B) Most of C) Almost all of D) Almost all the

I'm sorry. I don't know what option is the correct answer. Could you teach me what is the correct answer? I guess A)Most the is the correct answer, but
[Q1]
After "each of", "one of","most of","Almost all of" , do I have to write "the"?
[Q2]
For "each of the people", "one of the people", " most of the people", "Almost all of the people", can I omit "of"?

Thank you for your answers in advance.

"most the" isn't possible so you can rule out A straight away. You should say "most endangered species" or " almost all (the) endangered species". Q1) Usually but not always.

Don't worry about it. These are tricky grammar points. "most", unlike "all", cannot be used as a predeterminer, and as a consequence, "most the" isn't possible.
