Most people agree that money cannot be happiness. Why is happiness difficult to define? How can people achieve happiness?

Individuals can achieve happiness without happiness has been a debatable issue for a long time. Because of the variety of people’s needs, happiness is a concept that is challenging to define. There are plenty of ways through which an individual can feel happy.

On the one hand, happiness is a subjective feeling making it challenging to explain. This is because different people might have different needs which lead to their happiness. For instance, while good scores in exams would make students happy, promoting a career path seems valuable for an adult. As a result, happiness is a difficult concept as factors that make people happy vary from person to person, and they have a tendency to feel happy when their needs are fulfilled.

On the other hand, there can be different considerations that make people feel happy. The first factor that might lead to happiness is job satisfaction. Due to the fact that if people are satisfied with the kind of job they are doing, they would reduce stress resulting in boosting their productivity in workplace. Another factor is a loving family and friends which means that being surrounded by beloved ones is one of the optimal ways of making individuals feel happy. In fact, people may feel comfortable and content whenever they are beside those who they love.

In conclusion, happiness is difficult to explain because it relies on different people’s demands. However, I hold the belief that several factors can contribute to the happiness of different individuals by finding satisfaction in jobs and being with their beloved ones.
