Last time when I was in New York, most of the time we just hung out at the bar and lounges. Or

Last time when I was in New York, most of the times we just hung out at the bar and lounges.

What's the difference between most of the times and most of the time.

Can someone give me an example of both in sentences?

I think most of the time is correct in the sentence you have given.

With regard to the difference I think most of the times is used to refer to time in general as, "She talks of this subject most of the times."

And most of the time refers to specific period of time as is the case in your sentence.

i think most of the time is correct for the situation above,because you know "times" normally used for description number of the times or period,just time is ok ,most of the time means in past you often hung out at the bar and lounges
