Most of or much of?

"Being futuristic like most of the science fiction, the dystopian fiction can also be regarded as 'the literature of change'."

In this sentence, I am talking about SF and dystopian novels. should I use most or much?

That is not very natural. I might make it "Being as futuristic as most science fiction is, dystopian fiction can also be regarded as 'the literature of change'."

It depends on which you mean. If you say "most science fiction", you mean more than half and less than all, implying almost all. If you say "much science fiction", you mean quite a lot and less than all, but perhaps as little as, say, 30 percent, implying that you couldn't be bothered to do the research necessary to provide an accurate accounting, so you fluffed it up with a word that you hope makes it sound like you're right. I would use "most", if only because I believe that almost all science fiction is set in the future.
