Most / most of / almost all of

Hello,

Can you please help me?
I don't understand the nuances and the differences of 'most / almost all of / most of ' in the following sentences.
Many thanks for your help in advance.

He visited most countries in Europe.

He visited almost all of the countries in Europe.

He visited most of the countries in Europe.

There is more difference in the structure than in the meaning. Most countries and most of the countries are two ways of saying the same thing. Almost all is a considerably greater percentage.

Hi Mr Micawber,

I see, most and most of don't make any differences in these sentences. Thank you.

Why MUST we promote the gay life style at "most every" opportunity these days. I'm NOT a homophobe, but I still find this innundation to be extremely nauseating! Stop it NOW, or I'll bash you wiff my handbag!
