Most exercise of this season?

Hi! everyone.
Could you tell me whether this sentence is correct?
We got the most exercise of this season today.
Is it clear from the above sentence that today we have had a lot more exercise than we did in the other days of this season? If not? Could you rectify it?
Thanks!

silak12 Is it clear from the above sentence that today we have had a lot more exercise than we did in the other days of this season? It's not quite idiomatic. Your other version, where you explain what you want to say, is actually more idiomatic.
