Most

Hello,

1.The most he had ever made was $400 per month. ( This sentence is given to me for changing the degree of the adjective).

Is the above sentence correct?

Something is missing in the above sentence.

It should read like as the given below.

A. The most money he had ever made was $400 per month.

Could anyone correct it?

Thanks.

The original sentence is correct. It is obvious that "most" means "most money", and it is not necessary to include the word.
