Hi,
I was talking to a friend who’s British and she said this to me:
“My sister’s morphing into a new style now that she has a boyfriend. She started wearing more skirts and hats.”
Shouldn’t it be ‘morph into a differently styled person’ or something like that?
Thank you.
Ann225 Shouldn’t it be ‘morph into a differently styled person’ or something like that? "Morph" is slang in this use, so it is futile to criticize, but I agree with you. It is his sister who is morphing.
