when do i have to use more or most before the word and when do i have to add them as an ending particle? please, i need the ruleEmotion: smile

As usual, there is no hard and fast rule, Estela. One syllable words take -er/-est unless it is difficult to pronounce; two-syllable words take -er/-est if they are common and easy to pronounce; the rest take more/most. More/most can also be used for stress.
