more warmer

Hello everybody !

Why is it right to write "We won't go camping until the weather is more warmer." ?

I would have written is warmer, the expression is more warmer sounds like a pleonasm to me...

When you write 'Why is it right . . . 'it sounds like you think it is right.

"More warmer" is not correct. "Warmer" is, as you suspected.

One of the numerous exercices asks to choose the correct adjective in each sentence :
We won't go camping until th

We won't go camping until the weather is more boiling/warmer.

I'd chosen boiling but warmer was given as the correct adjective in the key at the end of the book.

Obviously, following your comments, warmer seems to be wrong now...

more warmer seems to be wrong now... (Not seems to be wrong. It is definitely wrong; 'much warmer' is fine.)
