• more vs. most

Hi!

I read the following question in a TOEIC book:

“4. I think it will be ______ difficult to break into the European market.

(A) the most

(B) as

(C) the more

(D) more

(Answer: D)” ((Achieve TOEIC, by Renald Rilcy))

If B were “most”, B also would be the correct answer, I think.

What do you think? Do you agree with me?

Thanks in advance.

Hi, 'As' is also correct, but the examiner obviously thinks 'more' is a better answer. That's how these tests work. Clive .

Yes. Unlike Clive, I don't consider as correct. Just as or equally would be right in my opinion.
